Donald Driver Seatbelt

Playing pro football is the same as going through several car crashes every game.

"That's why I always protect myself with a seatbelt whenever I'm on the road. In fact, I don't even think about it. I get in, buckle up, and head out.

And with my seatbelt on, I'm safe and I won't be pulled over and given a ticket. That's right, in Wisconsin you can now be pulled over for not wearing your seat belt! Who wants to get penalized for that? I like no ticket AND no getting busted up.

Because even though I can take a hit from a d-back. I'm not about to take one from you.

Don't take the hit. Don't get the ticket. Buckle up. And let's achieve zero deaths on Wisconsin roads."

- Donald Driver, Pro Football Player

Since July 1, 2009,
Wearing your seat belt is the law. A primary enforcement seat belt law allows police to stop and ticket a driver for not wearing a seat belt, just like any other routine traffic violation. See why Pro Football player Donald Driver says Buckle-up and don't get the ticket.
